Like everything else, the government doesn't do a very good job with anything. I guess we are better than most but still fall short. FDA claims it's not their deal. Waste water mgmt claims it's not their deal. I drink filtered Kanga water but I am not sure it removes pharmaceutical residue. Sorry - this is a disgusting statement but it is true - The other concern is flushed used tampons contaminating the water supply with blood. If I recall correctly, the blood is more of a concern than the drugs.

Well, they have been trying for years to get everyone hooked on their government sponsored drugs, I guess there were those that just wouldn't co-operate so they spiked the water. Must get the sheeple in line, and keep them there.

If you think Obama is an empty suit, then you haven't paid a dimes
worth of attention to the worst government agency in existence
besides the BIA. And Im talking about the Phony ass EPA.

This do nothing waste of time, makes the UN look like a power
house, You wonder why in a couple of years the modern libs
kids are going to glow in the dark. Just ask the EPA.

they have known this for along time and have done nothinjg about it, this is how lapse they are in protecting the american citizens, they just figured no one knew it and what they don;t know will hurt them but they choose to ignore it.again the citizens have not spoken up to their congressmen and demanded it be taken care of. that;s the only way to get anything done. just keep telling them.

The government will not upset big industries.. Unless they are discovered by an outside source and feel pressured into doing something about it.. Australian mining towns have been a Classic example.. High lead in soils, children's blood streams and so it goes on. Until mental issues were made public by concerned doctors the government testing of mining towns indicated that no problems were apparent.. They want the money.

dang - even that article was confusingly written...
"found codeine in TRACE concentrations THOUSANDS OF TIMES GREATER than what was found in the Delaware River." ...ehh... que?
.
"The amounts of codeine we measured in the wastewater, prior to releasing it to the City of Wilmington, are not considered to be hazardous to the environment," said a company spokesman."... that's fine - but what about the people? lol

Ask your Rep congressman. They are the ones that cut the Federal Government from doing their jobs. Remember Rep's let our business do what they want. Hopefully Rep's won't stop the money going back into the FDA.
